A delegation from Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport & Tourism (MLIT) visited NAREDCO for a landmark knowledge-exchange session, opening new avenues of collaboration between the two nations. Led by Mr. Kazuki Yonetani, Director, MLIT, along with Deloitte Tohmatsu representatives, the team shared insights on Japanese government’s supportive framework for overseas expansion through J-NORE, while highlighting the growing presence of developers like Sumitomo Realty and Mitsubishi Estate in India.

In a significant step towards policy advocacy and collaborative engagement, a delegation from NAREDCO — Shri Rajan Bandelkar, Vice Chairman; Shri Kishore Bhatija, Vice President; Shri Bharat Agarwal, Vice President; and Shri Manoj Joshi, President, NAREDCO Uttarakhand — met with Shri Katikithala Srinivas, Honourable Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA).

The delegation presented a comprehensive set of recommendations aimed at addressing critical challenges in the real estate sector and strengthening the ecosystem for sustainable urban development.
