Our federal structure comprising the National and State councils ensures that NAREDCO policy recommendations reflect ground realities across the geographical spread, making them more acceptable. While the National council concentrates on macro issues, state councils address local concerns and give states the benefit of exchanges from a larger pool of ideas. Further, with second-generation reforms being executed, the whole process has shifted from being a centralized priority to becoming a truly decentralized effort. This has increased the economic and political importance of Indian states. NAREDCO assists states in developing the real estate business of the respective states.
